The site was formed from an existing library structure in the Royal Borough of Greenwich. Oculus looked to infill the disued delapidated rear undercroft to form a high quality kitchen space. The design made use of the 3.6 metre headroom by installing mezzanine sleeping spaces, encapsulated with glass balustrades and recessed wall furniture. The living Space made use of the spatial height by installation of modern Brass chanderliers and tonally matching wall lighting. Hardwood entrance doors with a slate canopy finish the scheme respecting the heritage of the building.
