Oculus achieved planning for a new 32 unit scheme in conjunction with the Client Beckley Group and London Borough of Haringey. The project looks to mediate between the adjacent contextual references in relation to its location opposite the conservation area. Primary, Secondary and Tertiary facade lines break down the massing grain and provide subtle interplay between the various functions behind. A mixed use scheme with stepped section, podium, raised gardens, attenuation, double height offices and range of amenities create a dynamically and technically chanllenging project. The scheme involved careful dialogue with Haringey to effectively swap land and create permeable access to the adjacent site behind. It is presently under construction - more details to follow.
