ADASTRA HOUSE NETHER STREET, N3

Planning permission was obtained to convert the vacant office property Adastra House in Finchley central into a 34 unit residential scheme with basement parking and community living amenity.

 

Part of the difficulty of the site was the proximity of the adjoining properties and the sight lines that were required to be obtained. Numerous schemes preceeding our successful application had proposed large rectilinear forms which were not welcomed by Barnet planning. We we able to successfully negotiate a curved facade to overcome issues of daylighting and proposed louvred privacy screens to overcome overlooking and proximity issues with the adjoining properties.

 

The property owned by Titan holdings is presently awaiting a subsequent sale to interested parties.
